Some Reflections
Both Syria and Iran are transporting terrorists into Iraq. These terrorists are killing American soldiers. These are acts of war. The U.S. should issue an ultimatum to Iran and Syria: “Stop sending terrorists into Syria, and stop arming Hisballah, otherwise we shall bomb the hell out of you.”
The Bush administration’s verbal support of Israel is a cynical joke.
Israel is fighting America’s war in Lebanon. Indeed, Israel is fighting the Islamic enemies of Western civilization. It’s a cruel joke that this little country, despite its inferior leadership, should be doing the dirty work of the decadent West.
If Israel has the means, it should occupy Lebanon up to the Litani River, a defensible border. It should STAY THERE. The U.S. should back this goal. As for the missile threat, this will not be eliminated unless the U.S. crushes Syria, the channel for those missiles. Of course, none of this is in the cards.
Desirable but unexpected goals:
-
The Assad regime, which is backed only by a small minority, should be overthrown.
-
The Palestinian Authority should be eliminated and the U.S. should forget about a Palestinian state. Israel should declare Israeli law over the settlements in Judea and Samaria. (I have a seven-year plan as to what should be done about the Arab Inhabitants.)
-
The U.S. and Israel should sign a mutual security pact. Israel has already provided material support the U.S. in Iraq. A U.S.-Israeli security pact will put Arabs on notice that an attack on Israel is an attack on the U.S. and will be dealt with accordingly.
